Random Play Dance (RPD) is an activity where random songs will play and if you know the choreography, feel free to jump in and show off your moves!

Participating in our RPD is simple!

  1. Join us at the K-PLAY! FEST Stage during the designated set times.

  2. Step inside the taped border if you know the choreography!

  3. We want to make RPD fun and safe for everyone, so be sure to give other participants room to dance and do not push/shove anyone while waiting at the taped border!

K-PLAY! OFFs

Introducing K-PLAY! OFFs, K-PLAY! FEST’s first-ever K-POP cover dance competition! This is your chance to take the stage and battle it out for $500, a trophy, and the title of K-PLAY! OFFs FIRST Champion.

We’re calling all K-POP dancers, soloists, and crews to bring their A-game. Only 10 teams will make it to the live competition, and YOU decide who gets there! Submit a recent dance cover (1–1:30 mins) to social media using our hashtag #KPLAYOFFsOC25 and tag us @kplayfest, and the top 10 most-liked entries will be invited to compete live at K-PLAY! FEST OC 2025!

At the event, your team will perform a full set (max 5 mins) in front of special guest judges from the industry. Bring your best stage presence, sharpest moves, and show-stopping energy. This is more than just a cover, it’s your time to POP OFF.

🗓️ K-PLAY! OFFs will take place at the K-PLAY! FEST Main Stage on Saturday, August 30th at 2PM.

RPD Royale turns the classic “Random Play Dance” into a survival competition!

RPD Royale is where random K-POP songs will play, and you have to prove that you know the choreography. However, if you make a mistake or cannot jump into the dance quick enough, then you will be eliminated and the remaining dancers will stay for the next round. RPD Royale will then continue until there is the last person dancing!

As RPD Royale continues, the choreography will get harder and harder, and it’s up to you to prove you can keep up!

RPD ROYALE will be hosted at the K-PLAY! FEST Stage on Sunday, August 31st at 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM.
